Rising River is a writing retreat for children's book authors.
For
three days and three nights we gather on the shores
of Newfound Lake to write, to critique, to talk,
to support. The days are filled with lecture/workshops,
peer-critique sessions, and long stretches of individual
writing time. In the evenings, we gather for a communal
dinner, during which we replenish ourselves with good
food and good talk.
Come
and feel the river rise as your creativity flows in
a setting that has been designed to meet the needs of
the writer.
